06/11/2008 TXDOT Chooses Vertex for "Click It or Ticket" Site
Just a few months after a major update of the Texas Department of Transportation's (TXDOT) "Who's Driving Tonight" public service site, Vertex has once again been enlisted in a TXDOT public awareness site -- this time, it's the Texas Click It or Ticket campaign. This year's theme is "Buckle Up, Texas."
Under the guidance of Sherry Matthews Advocacy Marketing, which designed and is executing the campaign, Vertex created a site for "Buckle Up Texas" at http://www.texasclickitorticket.com/. The site includes Postcards that users can send to alert their friends of the consequences of driving -- or riding -- without one's seatbelt fastened; videos and MP3 radio files showing the dangers of not using one's seatbelt; and safety tips for securing child car seats.
