The Seton Family of Hospitals is the largest healthcare network in Central Texas, and one of the fastest growing healthcare systems in the nation. When Seton decided to redevelop its Web site, they had some interesting and challenging requirements designed to enhance usability – including completely human readable URL’s for all pages and XHTML compatibility. Vertex modified its content management system, Site Press®, to meet these and other requirements.

In addition, Vertex developers added a Content Manager for syndicated and “homegrown” periodical content; health library integration with content from Healthwise®; integration with Peoplesoft for Human Resources recruiting; and numerous Web-based applications, including a physician database, facility locations database, online billpay, egreeting cards for patients, and many others.
