Anticipating the shift from print to Web and recognizing Austin as one of the world’s
most wired cities and top technology towns, Seton Family of Hospitals decided to stop print production of their signature Good Health magazine and instead employ interactive media to revive the periodical brand as GoodHealth.com. To accommodate the monthly flood of third party health news and Seton-developed fitness and wellness articles, Vertex created a Content Manager application that lets Seton employees not only create and tag articles categorically but also determine go-live and expiration dates, priority and rank, and other characteristics of articles that can be used to automate their placement and prominence on the site.
